Selforganizing of the refugee movement in Germany
From 2012 there was a huge movement of non-citizens in Germany. They organized a protest march from Bavaria to Berlin, there they occupied a central square an established a camp, squatted an abandoned school and defended it against eviction and did hundreds of other actions.
Turgay, a comrade from Turkey who was in this struggle from the beginning, will come to Notara 26 and tell us how this self-organizing happened, how they solved the difficulties about all the different geographical and political backgrounds and how they connected with german movements.
We'll screen short movie, the presentation will be in turkish with greek/english/farsi translations
