Συγκέντρωση για τις απολυμένες μετανάστριες καθαρίστριες
ΚΑΘΑΡΙΣΤ(ΡΙ)ΕΣ ΜΕ ΠΙΣΤΟΠΟΙΗΤΙΚΟ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΜΑΘΕΙΑΣ; Συγκέντρωση στο Δημαρχείο της Αθήνας, Δευτέρα 28/9, 3 μμ, / Cleaners with "Certification of Attainment in Modern Greek"? Protest, Monday Sept. 28, at Athens City Hall (english bellow)
Tη Δευτέρα 28 Σεπτέμβρη, στις 3μμ, η ΕΠΙΤΡΟΠΗ ΑΠΟΛΥΜΕΝΩΝ ΜΕΤΑΝΑΣΤΡΙΩΝ ΚΑΘΑΡΙΣΤΡΙΩΝ ΣΤΑ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΑ καλεί συγκέντρωση μπροστά στο Δημαρχείο της Αθήνας, στην οδό Αθηνάς (πλατεία Εθνικής Αντιστάσεως), με σκοπό να παρευρεθούν και να μιλήσουν στη συνεδρίαση του δημοτικού συμβουλίου της ΑΘήνας. «Συνεχίζουμε το δίκαιο αγώνα μας μέχρι τη νίκη, μέχρι την επαναπρόσληψη όλων των απολυμένων καθαριστριών.»
Στις 21 Αυγούστου αναρτήθηκαν στο διαδίκτυο από τους διάφορους δήμους της χώρας οι ανακοινώσεις πρόσληψης καθαριστ(ρι)ών για τις σχολικές μονάδες, σύμφωνα με το νέο σύστημα που ανακοίνωσε η κυβέρνηση. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι/ες είχαν προθεσμία τρεις (3) εργάσιμες ημέρες (από 24/08/2020 ως και 26/08/2020) για να υποβάλουν αίτηση πρόσληψης (ορισμένουχρόνου). Είναι γνωστό ότι στον τομέα της καθαριότητας γενικά, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των σχολικών κτηρίων, εργάζεται μεγάλος αριθμός μεταναστ(ρι)ών. Σύμφωνα με τη νέο σύστημα, για να διεκδικήσουν να κρατήσουν τη θέση εργασίας τους, έπρεπε εντός 3 ημερών να προσκομίσουν πιστοποιητικό ελληνομάθειας! Μόνο στον Δήμο της Αθήνας, σχεδόν 50 μετανάστ(ρι)ες που εργάζονταν για πολλά χρόνια στα σχολεία αποκλείστηκαν με το νέο σύστημα! Οι μετανάστ(ρι)ες δεν έκατσαν με σταυρωμένα τα χέρια, οργανώθηκαν και αγωνίζονται!
On Monday, September 28, at 3 pm, the COMMITTEE OF FIRED MIGRANTS SCHOOL CLEANERS will be holding a protest in front of the City Hall of Athens, on Athinas Street (Ethnikis Antistaseos square), in order to attend the city council meeting and lay out their demands. "We will continue our fair fight until the victory, until all fired cleaners are employed again."
On August 21, announcements for hiring school units' cleaners were posted on the internet by the various municipalities of the country, according to the new system announced by the government. People interested in the jobs offered had three (3) working days (24/08/2020 to 26/08/2020) to submit an application (for a fixed-term contract). It is well known that a large number of migrants work as cleaners in general, including in school buildings. According to the new system, in order to try to keep their jobs, migrants had to present a "Certification of Attainment in Modern Greek" within 3 days! In the Municipality of Athens alone, because of the new system, some 50 migrants who worked for many years as cleaners in school buildings have not been allowed to apply for the jobs! The fired migrants did not sit idly by, they got organized and started the fight for their re-employment!
