Συγκέντρωση-Μικροφωνική στην Πλατεία Ανουτσιάτα, Κέρκυρα

Με αφορμή το περιστατικό βιασμού από μπάτσους την Τετάρτη 12 Οκτωβρίου του 2022 στο ΑΤ Ομόνοιας στην Αθήνα, κρίνουμε επιτακτική την ανάγκη να πάρουμε θέση για το γεγονός και να επισημάνουμε ότι αυτό δεν αποτελεί ένα μεμονωμένο περιστατικό αλλά είναι η πραγματικότητα στην οποία ζούμε.

Η 19χρόνη ούσα μόνη της στον ηλεκτρικό, αφού είχε ζητήσει καθοδήγηση από δύο μπάτσους της ομάδας ΔΙΑΣ, κατέληξε στο τμήμα μαζί τους όπου σύμφωνα με τα λεγόμενά τους θα την βοηθούσαν να βρει ευκολότερα τον προορισμό της.

Έπειτα την οδήγησαν σε ένα απομονωμένο μέρος του ΑΤ Ομόνοιας όπου την βίασαν ο ένας μετά τον άλλον και κατέγραψαν κομμάτι του βιασμού στις κάμερες της στολής τους, καθώς όπως είναι βολικό για το συγκεκριμένο τμήμα δεν υπάρχουν κάμερες ασφαλείας στο χώρο.

Ωστόσο, χωρίς να μας εκπλήσσει, τα συμβατικά ΜΜΕ, ακολουθώντας τη γνωστή τακτική τους, διαστρέβλωσαν το συμβάν και κατάφεραν να δημιουργήσουν τα ερωτήματα ΄΄Τι δουλειά είχε εκεί;¨ και ¨Γιατί δεν έφευγε;¨επιδιώκοντας έμμεσα να ρίξουν μέρος της ευθύνης στην 19χρονη.

Το ΑΤ Ομόνοιας φροντίζει να μας αποδεικνύει από το 1999 πως αποτελεί έναν χώρο στον οποίο δεν υπάρχουν τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα με παράδειγμα τα περιστατικά βίας και δολοφονιών ενάντια σε αλλοδαπούς κρατούμενους, άτομα με αναπηρίες, της Queer κοινότητας (Ζακ Κωστόπουλος/Zackie Oh) ακτιβιστές , αναρχικούς και όχι μόνο.

Ζούμε σε μία πατριαρχική κοινωνία όπου το catcalling, τα σεξιστικά αστεία/σχόλια και γενικότερα οι σεξιστικές συμπεριφορές αποτελούν καθημερινότητα για κάθε θηλυκότητα. Αυτές ακριβώς είναι και οι συμπεριφορές που κάνουν ολοένα πιο συχνά αυτά τα φαινόμενα βιασμών. Μέσω της υποτίμησης και υπονόμευσης της κάθε θηλυκότητας, που την κάνουν να θεωρείται χρηστικό αντικείμενο, δημιουργείται το ιδανικό κλίμα έτσι ώστε, αφενός να παίρνουν χώρο αυτού του είδους οι παραβιαστικές συμπεριφορές και αφετέρου, να νορμαλοποιούνται και να γίνονται ανεκτές. Σε αυτό το κλίμα πατριαρχίας λοιπόν, φτάσαμε να μετράμε μία γυναικοκτονία κάθε δεύτερη μέρα. Παρόλα αυτά ο όρος ¨γυναικοκτονία¨ δεν έχει επικυρωθεί ακόμη στην Ελλάδα, μια θηλυκότητα μετά το πέρας ενός συγκεκριμένου χρονικού περιθωρίου δεν έχει τη δυνατότητα να καταγγείλει τον (παρα)βιαστή/κακοποιητή της, πράγμα που μας αποδεικνύει ότι δεν πρέπει να τρέφουμε καμία ελπίδα για δικαιοσύνη από το κράτος δικαίου σας.

Ως μέρος του κινήματος, και έχοντας ταξική συνείδηση, σε μία κοινωνία στην οποία κυριαρχεί η καταστολή, πιόνια και υποχείριά της είναι και οι ίδιοι οι μπάτσοι, που τους δίνεται μία εξουσία την οποία ούτε αναγνωρίζουμε ούτε πρόκειται να δεχτούμε ποτέ. Η κυβέρνηση, έχει δώσει αυτή την εξουσία σε άτομα πλήρως ακατάλληλα, με σύνδρομο κατωτερότητας, που παίρνουν υπεραξία μέσα από αυτό το επάγγελμα, με αποτέλεσμα να ξεπερνούν συνεχώς τα όρια και κάνοντας κατάχρηση εξουσίας. Αυτά τα άτομα είναι οι μπάτσοι, που μας κάνουν catcalling όταν γυρνάμε μόνες μας σπίτι το βράδυ, που υποτιμάνε τους αγώνες μας και τους αντιμετωπίζουν σαν παιχνίδι ¨κλέφτες και αστυνόμοι¨. Επομένως στην ερώτηση ¨ποιον θα πάρετε τηλέφωνο αν σας κλέψουν, αν σας δείρουν, αν σας βιάσουν;¨ η απάντηση είναι ¨Θα πάρουμε τηλέφωνο τα συντρόφια και τις φίλες/τα φίλα μας¨. Επειδή ποτέ κανένα δεν πήρε τηλέφωνο τον παραβιαστή και βασανιστή του να ζητήσει βοήθεια.

Και για να μην ξεχνιόμαστε, όχι μόνο η διαθεσιμότητα που δόθηκε ήταν ¨για τα μάτια του κόσμου¨ αλλά οι ίδιοι οι βιαστές απαρνήθηκαν κάθε είδους κατηγορητήριο και κρίθηκαν και αθώοι από το δικαστήριο, χωρίς καμία ντροπή, χωρίς καμία συνειδητότητα της ψυχικής οδύνης, της παραβίασης αλλά και του ψυχικού και σωματικού τραύματος που προκάλεσαν στην 19χρονη. Έτσι μας αποδεικνύεται άλλη μια φορά η εξουσία που έχουν, όχι μόνο στα σώματά μας αλλά και στα δικαστήρια, εφόσον το δικαστικό σώμα που έχει θεσπιστεί είναι από τους πάνω για τους πάνω. Οι περιοριστικοί όροι που επιβλήθηκαν στους βιαστές είναι το bare minimum που θα μπορούσαν να έχουν ως τιμωρία αυτά τα σκουπίδια της κοινωνίας για τον βιασμό στον οποίο προέβησαν, του οποίου ευθύνη, ως γνωστό μοτίβο τους, έριξαν στην 19χρονη αναφέροντας πως αυτή ¨το ζήτησε¨.

Και όχι, δεν σας αξίζει κανένα εύσημο για την αναπαραγωγή της καταγγελίας της 19χρονης από τα συμβατικά μέσα. Αν το ίδιο περιστατικό συνέβαινε λ.χ. σε μια μετανάστρια, δεν θα το μαθαίναμε ποτέ, όπως δεν έχουμε μάθει για τα εκατοντάδες αντίστοιχα περιστατικά που καλύφθηκαν ή ξεπλύθηκαν.

Στεκόμαστε αλληλέγγυα δίπλα στην 19χρονη αδερφή μας και σε όλα τα καταπιεσμένα αυτού του κόσμου και δεν θα σταματήσουμε να αγωνιζόμαστε ποτέ για τα αυτονόητα που μας στερούνται. Στην κοινωνία αυτή που βρωμάει θάνατο και βία εμείς έχουμε το ένα την άλλη, είμαστε πολλά και δεν θα κάνουμε ποτέ ησυχία, μέχρι το κράτος να πεθάνει και η πατριαρχία.

Prompted by the rape incident from cops on Tuesday 12th October, 2022 in the Police Department of Omonia, Athens, we consider the need -to take a stand for this- imperative and we point out that this rape case is not an isolated incident but a reality in which we, unfortunately, live in.

The 19-year-old girl, being all alone in the metro (the electric line), since she had already asked for guidance from the 2 cops of the police task force (¨DIAS¨), she ended up in the police department with them and according to the cops' sayings, they would help her to find her destination.

Afterwards, they took her into an isolated basement of Omonia's police department, a place in which the 2 cops raped her, one after the other and on top of that, they recorded part of her rape, via their uniform cameras (go-pro type camera) as conveniently for this particular department, there are no security cameras in it.

Although, not surprisingly, the conventional mass-media, following their well-known tactics, they mispresented the incident and managed to raise questions such as "What was she doing there?" and "Why didn't she leave?" with the indirect intention to cast part of the blame and point fingers in the 19-year-old girl.

The Police Department of Omonia is ensuring us since 1999 that it is a place in which the human rights are not taking into account and basically do not exist. Crucial examples and proofs of violent incidents and murders of foreign prisoners, of people with disabilities, of the Queer community (for example the murder of the activist Zack Kostopoulo/Zackie Oh), of anarchists and many other.

We live in a patriarchal society in which the catcalling, the sexist comments/jokes and in general sexist behaviors are a normal every day thing, for every femininity. Those are exactly the type of behaviors which make these phenomena of rape more and more often. By demeaning and undermining every femininity, these practices are objectifying women and on the one hand, an ideal ground is created in order for these sexually abusive behaviors to grow and take more place in our lives, on the other hand, we end up normalizing these behaviors, considering them part of our regularity and tolerating them. In this patriarchal mood, we ended up counting feminicides every second day.

Despite all that, the term "feminicide'' is still not certified in Greece, and other laws and legal systems are against feminities in this country such as the fact that a femininity is not able to report her rapist after the end of a specific time margin-defined by the law, a situation that proves us this: we must not have any hope for justice by your rule of law.

Being part of the anarchist movement and having class consciousness, while living in a society where repression dominates, puppets and stooges for repression are the cops themselves. As a result, by the authority and the power that is given to them, this power is not recognized by us and will never be, neither recognizable nor acceptable.

The government has given this power in persons which are totally inadequate, have inferiority complex, get goodwill through their ¨profession¨ and as a result they transcend the boundaries and cross the line by abusing their authority. These persons are the cops. The cops that catcalls us when we return back home late at night all by ourselves. The cops that underestimate our political fights and see them as a game similar to ¨cops and Robbers¨. Consequently, in the question "Who are you going to call if you get robbed, beaten or raped?" the answer is "We will call our sisters!". Because no one has ever called their abuser and torturer to seek for help.

And because we never forget, not only the suspension given to the rapists-cops was just for the looks of it, but the rapists themselves denied all types of charges against them and were found innocent by the court. ¨Found innocent¨ with no shame, with no consciousness of the mental anguish, the sexual abuse and the physical and psychological trauma that they caused in the girl. That's how it is once again proven to us how much power they have, not only in our bodies, but in the court as well, while the established judicial body, is in favor of ¨the strongest¨. The restraining orders which are imposed to the rapists-cops are the bare minimum that these society's trash could have as a punishment for the rape they forced. Part of the blame for the rape was casted on the 19-year-old girl by the rapists as their well-known pattern, mentioning that ¨she was asking for it¨

And still, NO. You don΄t deserve credit for the reproduction and share of the girl's report via the conventional mass-media. If the same rape case had happened in a person of a minority group, for example in an immigrant woman, we would never learn about this, as we haven't learned about the hundreds of similar incidents because they were covered up.

We stand in solidarity with our 19-year-old sister and with all the oppressed of this world. We will never stop fighting for the self-evident things that are taken from us. In this, full of death and violence, society we have one another, we are a lot, we will never be quiet, 'til the state and the patriarchy will both die.
