Στις 25 Σεπτεμβρίου, η κατάληψή μας γιορτάζει 8 χρόνια αλληλεγγύης. Μετανάστες/ριες, πρόσφυγες/γισσες, ενήλικα και παιδιά, ζουν ως κοινότητα στο κατειλημμένο κτίριο στην οδό Ναυάρχου Νοταρά 26 στα Εξάρχεια και συνεχίζουν να αγωνίζονται καθημερινά ενάντια στον συστημικό φασισμό και ρατσισμό, οι οποίοι βρίσκονται σε έξαρση.

Ο προηγούμενος χρόνος σημαδεύτηκε τόσο από νίκες όσο και από επιθέσεις στην κατάληψή μας. Η πρώτη νίκη είναι ότι είμαστε ακόμα εδώ, αντιστεκόμεν@ στην κρατική βία, τον κοινωνικό φασισμό και τον καπιταλισμό. Κάποι@ κάτοικοι κατάφεραν να βρουν μια καλύτερη ζωή περνώντας τα σύνορα, άλλ@ είναι ακόμα εδώ και αγωνίζονται για μια αξιοπρεπή ζωή, απαλλαγμένη από την καταπίεση και την ανισότητα. Πολλ@ εργάζονται για μια μπουκιά ψωμί, 6 ημέρες την εβδομάδα ή περισσότερες, είναι εξαντλημέν@, αλλά παραμένουν αισιόδοξ@ ότι μια μέρα τα πράγματα θα αλλάξουν. Το να ζει κανείς στο κέντρο της Αθήνας δεν είναι καθόλου ευκαταφρόνητο κατόρθωμα σε μια εποχή βίαιων διαδικασιών εξευγενισμού, εξώσεων και γκετοποίησης των καταπιεσμένων τάξεων. Και όμως, το να ζεις στο κέντρο της Αθήνας είναι απαραίτητο για να βρεις δουλειά, να έχεις πρόσβαση στην εκπαίδευση, σε δομές και υπηρεσίες. Να ζεις στην καρδιά της πόλης σημαίνει επίσης να ζεις μέσα στην κοινωνία και όχι στο περιθώριο, κλεισμέν@ σε ένα στρατόπεδο συγκέντρωσης. Οι καταλήψεις στέγασης το καθιστούν αυτό εφικτό.

Μέσα στα 8 χρόνια υπήρξαν πολλές επιθέσεις εναντίον μας: διακοπές ρεύματος και νερού, επιθέσεις και εκφοβισμοί από φασιστικές ομάδες και μια πρωτόγνωρη αστυνομική παρουσία στην πλατεία μας, στο λόφο μας, στη γειτονιά μας. Παρά τις δυσκολίες αυτές, κρατηθήκαμε όρθι@ χάρη στον αγώνα και την αλληλεγγύη των μελών της κοινότητάς μας, καθώς και των ομάδων αλληλεγγύης τόσο στη γειτονιά μας όσο και αλλού. Η συνεργασία μας με τις αυτοδιαχειριζόμενες κοινωνικές κουζίνες El Chef και Mano Aperta,με τα συντρόφια από την Ανοιχτή Συνέλευση Υπεράσπισης του Λόφου Στρέφη, με τη Συνέλευση Όχι στο μετρό στην πλ. Εξαρχείων, με εκείνα του Ρουβίκωνα, του Αυτοδιαχειριζόμενου πάρκου Ναυαρίνου, των κατειλημμένων Προσφυγικών αλλά και με πολλά ακόμα συντρόφια που ήρθαν από τη Γαλλία, την Ελβετία, τη Γερμανία, το Βέλγιο, την Ισπανία, την Ιταλία, την Κολομβία, τη Βραζιλία, τις ΗΠΑ όχι μόνο μας θυμίζει καθημερινά ότι δεν είμαστε μόν@, αλλά δείχνει κι ότι είμαστε πολλ@ που αγωνιζόμαστε και θα συνεχίσουμε να αγωνιζόμαστε ενάντια στο ρατσισμό, το φασισμό και το δολοφονικό καθεστώς των συνόρων.

Άλλωστε αυτή η χρονιά σηματοδοτείται από το άνοιγμα ενός ανοιχτού χώρου στο ισόγειο, όπου όλο και περισσότερες πολιτικές συναντήσεις πραγματοποιούνται στη Νοταρά 26, ενώ ήδη έχουν διοργανωθεί πάρτι και ανοιχτές εκδηλώσεις με συντροφικές συλλογικότητες, όπως τα Προσφυγικά, το Solidarity with Migrants και τα Zizania. Είμαστε περήφανα που χτίζουμε και ενισχύουμε δίκτυα αλληλεγγύης, προσπαθώντας να δείξουμε με έμπρακτα παραδείγματα πως μόνο με τη συλλογική δράση όλων των καταπιεσμένων θα μπορέσουμε να επιβιώσουμε από τις επιθέσεις του κράτους, του καπιταλισμού, του φασισμού, του ρατσισμού και της πατριαρχίας.

Η επανεκλογή Μητσοτάκη και η είσοδος των Σπαρτιατών και της Νίκης στη βουλή, η απόπειρα ιδεολογικής ηγεμονίας των παραπάνω στην κοινωνία, η μαζική δολοφονία της Πύλου από το κράτος, την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και τη Frontex, το κρατικό - καπιταλιστικό έγκλημα των Τεμπών, οι φασιστικές πολιτοφυλακές στον Έβρο και οι νεκροί της Δαδιάς, οι δολοφονίες της Άννας, του Αντώνη, του Μιχάλη, των Ρομά Νίκου Σαμπάνη και Κώστα Φραγκούλη, οι αποκλεισμοί των δημοσίων χωρών και η καταστροφή του περιβάλλοντος όπως στην περίπτωση της Θεσσαλίας, τα εργατικά ατυχήματα, ο συνεχιζόμενος πόλεμος ενάντια σε όλα τα εργασιακά δικαιώματα και η επίθεση στις δημόσιες δραματικές σχολές και γενικότερα τον πολιτισμό, οι εκκενώσεις σημαντικών καταλήψεων, αποτελούν λίγα από τα συλλογικά τραύματα που δεχθήκαμε από τον κρατικό μηχανισμό το τελευταίο διάστημα και που θα συνεχίσουμε να δεχόμαστε. Η μια τραγωδία μετά την άλλη, μια μόνιμη κατάσταση έκτακτης ανάγκης και τρόμου, με στόχο την υποταγή μας.

Απέναντι σε αυτόν τον ανελέητο πόλεμο που δεχόμαστε, η αντίσταση πρέπει είναι ισχυρότερη από την καταπίεσή τους και συλλογικά πρέπει να φροντίσουμε να αγωνιζόμαστε μέχρι την καταστροφή κάθε καταπίεσης, μέχρι την καταστροφή κάθε κλουβιού. Δεν θα τα παρατήσουμε, θα συνεχίσουμε τις καταλήψεις και τη δημιουργία αυτοδιαχειριζόμενων χώρων παντού. Η αντίσταση & οι σχέσεις αλληλεγγύης είναι ισχυρότερες από την καταπίεσή τους. Η Νοταρά 26 θα παραμείνει ένας τόπος που αντιστέκεται στο φασισμό, στον καπιταλισμό, στο κράτος και στους παρακρατικούς του λακέδες, χάρη στους δεσμούς που έχει δημιουργήσει και όλη τη δύναμη που καταφέρνει να αντλεί από την κοινότητά της!

Καλούμε: το Σάββατο, 23 Σεπτεμβρίου στις 18:00, πορεία από την Νοταρά 26 προς τη γειτονιά των Εξαρχείων με επιστροφή στην κατάληψη. Από τις 20:00 και μετά, Συλλογική κουζίνα και μουσική, για να γιορτάσουμε μαζί 8 χρόνια αγώνα, αξιοπρέπειας και αλληλεγγύης.

8 YEARS OF STRUGGLE, 8 YEARS OF SOLIDARITY: REFUGEE/MIGRANT HOUSING SQUAT NOTARA 26 STILL FIGHTS FOR LIFE AND DIGNITY!

This September 25, our squat celebrates its 8th anniversary. Migrants and refugees, adults and children are part of a community in the squatted building of 26 Navarchou Notara Street, Exarcheia, and continue to fight every day against the increasing of fascism and the systemic racism.

The past year has been punctuated by both victories and attacks against our squat. The first victory is that we are still here, resisting state violence, fascism and capitalism. Some residents have managed to find a better life by crossing borders, while others are still here, fighting for a dignified life free of oppression and inequality. Many of them are working for a pittance, 6 days a week or more. They are exhausted, but hopeful that one day things will change for them. Living in the center of Athens is no mean feat at a time of violent gentrification, eviction and ghettoization of the oppressed classes. And yet, living in the center of Athens remains essential for finding work, accessing education and some social services and structures. Living in the heart of the city also means living in the society, not on the margins, on the sidelines, invisibilized, locked up in a concentration camp or a prison. Housing squats make this possible.

Over the past 8 years, we have had to face numerous attacks: power and water cuts, attacks and intimidation by fascist groups, an unprecedented police presence in our square, on our hill, in our neighborhood. Despite these difficulties, we are resisting thanks to the struggle and solidarity of the members of our community, as well as solidarity groups in the neighborhood and elsewhere. Our collaboration with the El Chef and Mano Aperta self-organized social kitchens, with the comrades of the Open Assembly for the Defense of Strefi Hill, of the No to the Metro at Exarcheia Square Assembly, with the comrades of Rouvikonas, those of the Navarinou Self-Managed Park, the Squatted Community of Prosfygika and with others, from France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Brazil and the United States, reminds us every day that we are not alone. Many of us who are still fighting and will continue to struggle against racism, fascism and the murderous border regime.

This year 2023, we created an open space at the ground floor of Notara 26, where more and more assemblies, parties and public events are being held with various groups, including the Squatted Community of Prosfygika, Solidarity with Migrants and Zizania. We are proud of building and strengthening solidarity networks, trying to show by practical examples that it is only through the collective action of all the oppressed can survive the attacks of the State, capitalism, fascism, racism and patriarchy.

The re-election of Mitsotakis and the entry of the Spartans and Niki into the Parliament, their ideological hegemony attempt in the society, the massacre of Pylos by the State, the Εuropean Union and Frontex, the State and capitalist crime of Tempi, the fascist paramilitaries in Evros and the deaths of Dadia, the murders of Anna, Antonis, Michalis, Roma Nikos Sampanis and Kostas Fragoulis, the blockades of public spaces and the destruction of the environment as in the case of Thessaly, the industrial disasters, the ongoing war against all labor rights and the attacks on public drama schools and culture in general, the eviction of important squats, are only some of the collective trauma we have suffered from the State. One tragedy after another, a permanent state of terror and a shock doctrice intended to leave us in a state of sideration and inaction.

Against this merciless war we accept, resistance must be stronger than their oppression, and collectively we must ensure that we fight until the destruction of all oppression, until the destruction of every cage. Νwe will not give up, we will continue to squat and create self-managed spaces everywhere. Resistance and solidarity relations are stronger than their oppression. The Notara 26 squat will remain a place that resists fascism, capitalism, the state and its parastatal lackeys, thanks to the bonds it has created and all the strength it manages to draw from its community!

This Saturday, September 23 at 6 pm, we'll meet in front of our building (Navarchou Notara 26) for a neighborhood demonstration. From 8 pm we will have collective kitchen and music in our squat to celebrate all together 8 years of struggle, dignity and solidarity.

8 ANS DE LUTTE, 8 ANS DE SOLIDARITÉ : LE SQUAT DE RÉFUGIÉ.E.S/MIGRANT.E.S NOTARA 26

DÉFEND TOUJOURS LA VIE ET LA DIGNITÉ !

Ce 25 septembre, notre squat fête ses 8 ans d'existence. Des personnes migrantes et réfugiées, adultes et enfants, vivent en communauté dans l'immeuble squattée située au 26 de la rue Navarchou Notara, à Exarcheia et continuent de se battre chaque jour contre le fascisme et le racisme systémiques qui ne font qu'augmenter.

L'année écoulée a été ponctuée de victoires mais aussi d'attaques contre notre squat. La première victoire est que nous sommes toujours là, à résister contre la violence d'Etat, le fascisme et le capitalisme. Certain.e.s résident.e.s ont réussi à trouver une vie meilleure en traversant les frontières, d'autres sont toujours là à se battre pour une vie digne, sans oppressions, sans inégalités. Beaucoup travaillent pour une bouchée de pain, 6 jours sur 7 ou plus. La plupart sont épuisées, mais gardent l'espoir qu'un jour les choses changeront pour elles et eux. Vivre au centre d'Athènes n'est pas une mince affaire à l'heure des processus violents de gentrification, d'expulsion, et de ghettoïsation des classes opprimées. Et pourtant, vivre au centre d'Athènes demeure essentiel pour trouver du travail, avoir accès à l'éducation et à certains services et structures. Vivre au coeur de la ville, c'est aussi vivre dans la société et non pas en marge, à l'écart, invisibilisé.e, enfermé.e dans un camp de concentration ou une prison. Les squats de logement rendent cela possible.

Au cours de ses 8 années, il y a eu de nombreuses attaques contre Notara 26 : coupures d'électricité et d'eau, attaques et intimidations de groupes fascistes, présence policière sans précédent sur notre place, sur notre colline, dans notre quartier. Malgré ces difficultés, nous résistons grâce à la lutte et à la solidarité des membres de notre communauté, ainsi que des groupes solidaires du quartier et d'ailleurs. Notre collaboration avec les cuisines sociales autogérées El Chef et Mano Aperta, avec les camarades de l'Assemblée Ouverte pour la Défense de la Colline Strefi, de l'Assemblée Non au métro sur la place d'Exarcheia, avec les camarades de Rouvikonas, ceux et celles du Parc Autogéré de Navarinou, la Communautée squatée de Prosfygika et avec d'autres, venu.e.s de France, Suisse, Allemagne, Belgique, Espagne, Italie, Colombie, Bresil, des Etats-Unis, nous rappelle chaque jour non nous ne sommes pas seul.e.s,. Nous sommes nombreux/euses à lutter et continuerons à nous battre contre le racisme, le fascisme et le régime meurtrier des frontières.

Cette année 2023 a été marquée par l'ouverture d'un espace ouvert au rez-de-chaussée du Notara 26, où de plus en plus d'assemblées se tiennent, de fêtes et évènements publics avec différents groupes, dont la Communautée squatée de Prosfygika, Solidarity with Migrants et Zizania. Nous sommes fièr.e.s de construire et de renforcer des réseaux de solidarité, en essayant de montrer par des exemples pratiques que ce n'est qu'avec l'action collective de tou.te.s les opprimé.e.s que nous pourrons survivre aux attaques de l'Etat, du capitalisme, du fascisme, du racisme et du patriarcat.

La réélection de Mitsotakis et l'entrée des Spartiates et de Niki au Parlement, la tentative d'hégémonie idéologique de ceux-ci dans la société, le massacre de Pylos par l'État, l'Union Εuropéenne et Frontex, le crime étatique et capitaliste de Tempe, les milices fascistes à Evros et les morts de Dadia, les meurtres d'Anna, Antonis, Michalis, des Roma Nikos Sampanis et Kostas Fragoulis, la fermeture des espaces publiques et la destruction de l'environnement comme en Thessalie, les accidents industriels, la guerre en cours contre tous les droits du travail et les attaques contre les écoles publiques d'art dramatique et la culture, l'expulsion de squats importants, ne sont que quelques-uns des traumatismes collectifs que nous avons subis de la part de l'État ces derniers temps et que nous continuerons de subir. Une tragédie après l'autre, un état d'urgence et de terreur permanent, visant à notre asservissement.

Contre cette guerre sans merci que nous acceptons, la résistance doit être plus forte que leur oppression, et collectivement nous devons veiller à lutter jusqu'à la destruction de toute oppression, jusqu'à la destruction de chaque cage. Νous ne lâcherons rien, nous continuerons à squatter et à créer des espaces autogérés partout. La résistance et les relations de solidarité sont plus fortes que leur oppression. Le squat Notara 26 restera un lieu qui résiste au fascisme, au capitalisme, à l'État et à ses laquais paraétatiques, grâce aux liens qu'il a créés et à toute la force qu'il parvient à tirer de sa communauté!

Ce samedi 23 septembre à 18h00, on se retrouve devant notre bâtiment (Navarchou Notara 26) pour une manifestation de quartier. A partir de 20h : cuisine collective et musique dans notre squat pour célébrer ensemble 8 ans de lutte, de dignité et de solidarité.
