THE SURVIVORS (1995).
This high production interpretation of Kanafani's seminal text figures as one of the first Iranian films on Palestine and arguably the most historically accurate depictions of Nakba-era Haifa (the film was shot mainly in Damascus) then enduring the onslaught of British sponsored Zionist death squads.
Considering the current Iranian anti-imperialist response to entity's unprovoked and illegal strikes, this production exemplifies the historic and ongoing revolutionary solidarity of Iran with the Palestinian armed struggle.
The film will be in Arabic language with English subtitles, and runs at 140 minutes.
