Το Monster House ξεκινάει με τα παιδιά της γειτονιάς να παρατηρούν το μυστηριώδες σπίτι του ηλικιωμένου Nebbercracker, ενός εκκεντρικού και καχύποπτου άντρα που όλοι φοβούνται. Ο DJ, ένα αγόρι με περιέργεια και τόλμη, και οι φίλοι του, Chowder και Jenny, γίνονται μάρτυρες παράξενων γεγονότων: το σπίτι μοιάζει να κινείται μόνο του, να "αναπνέει" και να καταπίνει αντικείμενα και ανθρώπους.
Καθώς η περιέργειά τους μεγαλώνει, τα παιδιά ανακαλύπτουν ότι το σπίτι είναι ζωντανό - σχεδόν σαν ένα πλάσμα γεμάτο οργή, πόνου και μυστικά.

Monster House begins with the neighborhood kids watching the mysterious house of the elderly Nebbercracker, an eccentric and suspicious man whom everyone fears. DJ, a curious and brave boy, along with his friends Chowder and Jenny, witness strange events: the house seems to move on its own, to "breathe," and to swallow objects and people. As their curiosity grows, the children discover that the house is alive - almost like a creature filled with rage, pain, and secrets. Along the way, DJ, Jenny, and Chowder experience intense terror but also emotional growth.
The story intertwines adventure and mystery with the value of friendship, responsibility, and courage. With scenes full of tension, clever humor, and atmospheric animation. It becomes a unique experience for young and old alike: a horror fairy tale that speaks about loss, imagination, and coming of age.
